CROSSROADS holds first graduation, prepares for Year #2
The very successful CROSSROADS program will honor its first graduates on Saturday, May 22 at 11am in Bahnson Center.  During this inaugural year, 28 men and women from 8 denominations enrolled in classes in preparation for leadership roles in established congregations and emerging communities of faith.  Students and denominational leaders have been highly complimentary of the curriculum which includes courses in theology, ethics, faith traditions, scripture, and missional leadership. The course schedule for fall 2010 is available online with two summer Open Houses scheduled for Saturday June 26 and Saturday August 2nd.  In the words of a student, "the Crossroads program fills a need in lay leadership that has been long in coming! It has not only been interesting and challenging but it has proven to be a wonderful way to aid in discernment."
