An exploration of the four Gospels and Acts, both in terms of their inter-relationships and in terms of each gospel’s own particular depiction of the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus. The Gospels will be considered in light of their relation to the first century world and in relation to the various trajectories of tradition, theology, and practice that developed within the emerging Christian church and that play vital roles in communities of faith, both locally and within a global context.
