Spiritual Formation is a three credit Formative Spirituality course
which includes examination of readings from a variety of spiritual traditions, an exploration of spiritual practices as a way of shaping one's faith (e.g., contemplative prayer, meditation, spiritual autobiography, pilgrimage, journaling, creative pathways, ritual), and an opportunity to explore the linkage between images of God and one's spiritual formation. The course is taught as a combination of lecture/discussion/experiential exercises, and includes a weekly small group experience. Emphasis is placed on application of learnings to one's life and ministry/counseling setting.
