The course is dedicated to students writing and preaching their own sermons, with faculty, peer, and supervisor evaluation and critique. It will guide students in the discipline of sermon preparation, develop pulpit skills, and broaden the preacher’s homiletical imagination. Students will preach regularly throughout the semester, establishing a season-long rhythm of sermon creation and delivery. A Supervised Ministry placement or approved alternative is required.
