Designed to prepare Presbyterian MDiv students to take the Standard Ordination Examination in Church Polity, this course will focus on the Form of Government, the Directory for Worship, and the Rules of Discipline of the Book of Order. Through lectures, discussions, and case studies, students will acquire a working knowledge of the Presbyterian system as both a practical set of tools and an expression of Christian faith in the Reformed tradition.
