Curriculum Vitae

Walter currently has the longest tenure at Moravian Theological Seminary, encouraging and challenging students to understand their own ideas and beliefs as well as the ideas and beliefs that are different from their own since 1993. He is well known around the Seminary and throughout the Lehigh Valley for the series, Christians & Muslims Talking Together, that he currently co-leads with Mustafa Kaya from Respect Graduate School. This important series supports learning, sharing, and exploration with civility, kindness, and shared humanity. He also teaches courses in World Religions.

Walter has been busy in academics and in parish ministry since he received his MDiv in 1960, and it seems there is no slowing him down. His depth of knowledge and experience and his willingness to share it has proven invaluable for scores of students as they journey toward their own calls.
