The Seminary brings leaders of the worldwide Moravian Unity to campus to serve as instructors and do research through The Herbert A. Pfohl Endowment Fund. With a goal of promoting increased knowlege and understanding among present and future leaders of the Moravian Church, these funds may be applied for annually by contacting the Director of the Center for Moravian Studies.
The fund, established through the generosity of Evangeline Bahnson Smith of Winston-Salem, NC, honors Herbert A. Pfohl (1871-1960), a Moravian layperson from Winston-Salem dedicated to education and world mission. |
