Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are granted for most programs and are noted with the event details. CEUs are based on contact hours. One CEU equals ten contact hours. Participants who have requested CEUs will receive a certificate upon completion of the event.
Continuing education events for chaplains, pastoral counselors, and social workers are regularly approved for continuing education credit through appropriate state and national accrediting agencies, as noted in individual listings. Moravian Theological Seminary is National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events that meet NBCC requirements. Sessions for which NBCC-approved clock hours will be awarded are identified in the Seminary’s Web site. The ACEP is solely responsible for all aspects of the program. |
