Social media is everywhere, yet its impact on personality and relationships (including therapeutic relationships) is only beginning to be understood. Barbara Keller, Consultant for Misconduct Prevention, Vocation and Education Unit, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and a panel of area counselors will help us explore some of the possibilities and challenges that Facebook, Twitter, and other social media pose to counselors and clients.
Receive first-hand information about pastoral counseling opportunities in the Lehigh Valley. Representatives from local agencies that employ counselors and provide clinical placement opportunities will be at Moravian Seminary for an extended lunch hour to share information about their mission, counseling positions, pay scale and benefits, and availability of credentialed supervision.
Sites represented will include:
Turning Point Shelter, Mid Atlantic Rehabilitation Services, Good Shepherd, Moravian College Counseling Center, Valley Youth House,
IBEAM Academy, Diakon ElderCare
