Images are primal material from the psyche, capable of standing alone, revealing meanings that can deepen self-awareness on multiple levels (compared with words, which are secondary communications, linear, with meanings which can change).  In the context of music, scripture and meditation, we will experience self-directed image making using art media, and also other-directed image making in therapeutic role play.  Please come prepared to share your experience, interest and concerns relating to the theme.  Wear play clothes!

Dorothy Heine Rudolph, studio artist and art therapist, holds a BFA from Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, and an MAAT from Vermont College in Montpelier.
