Isaiahs? Voices? More than one prophet in the cherished biblical book? Who, When and Where? What messages, meanings and missions might move us? One voice proclaimed God’s rule in opposing the nation’s leaders and complacent citizens. Another voice strengthened depressed exiles with God’s promises of purpose and hope. A third voice looked ahead to a healed and renewed world. Isaiah-voices shaped Jesus’ ministry and energized the first Christians. Listen to the voices speak to and challenge us now.
