All degree programs require participation in one, non-credit, Multicultural Awareness Workshop (SEGR 701) during a student's Seminary career. Workshops that meet this degree requirement will be held annually.
The Seminary's curriculum addresses the realities of a more diverse society and a more diverse student body. Students will be called on to articulate not only their own theological perspectives but perspectives that underlie different or opposing points of view. Just as degree students are required to participate in a Learning As Ministry fall retreat that focuses on Lebenslauf and "call," they will be required to participate in a spring Multicultural Awareness workshop that focuses on matters related to diversity and community.
