Health Service

The Moravian College Health Service provides primary care for students during the fall and spring terms. The service is under the management of St. Luke’s Hospital.Students do not need to have Moravian College health insurance to visit the visit the Health Center.

The coordinator of health services, a nurse-practitioner, is on duty from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. most weekdays, as is a part-time nurse.

Physician and reproductive-healthcare nurse-practitioner hours are posted and students need to make an appointment for those services.. If medical care is required when the Health Center is closed, students may visit St. Luke’s North, 153 Brodhead Road, Bethlehem, or call 610 954-3220. This facility is open weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m., weekends between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The emergency room at St. Luke’s Hospital, 801 Ostrum Street, Bethlehem, treats emergency cases 24 hours a day. Students are responsible for fees incurred and should take insurance information with them to any outside provider.
