The MAPC Mentoring Program

Students in the MAPC program have the opportunity to participate in a mentoring program with alumni who are serving in pastoral counseling professions.

Typically, students will meet regularly with an MAPC graduate who is working in some area of the pastoral counseling field to discuss professional issues such as licensure, certification, and denominational endorsement.

The MAPC Alumni Committee coordinates the Mentor Program by inviting alumni who are pastoral counseling professionals to serve as mentors to our students. A list of available mentors is provided to MAPC students at the beginning of each academic year. Members of the MAPC Alumni/ae Committee assist in matching mentors with students according to the professional interests of the student.
