The Office of Admissions and Student Life aims to address important and timely issues that affect our students. Now in its third year, the Student Services Lunch Workshop series offers just that. Geared toward students but open to the entire Seminary community, each workshop engages students in a discussion and lunch with a speaker or speakers knowledgeable about a specific topic. Previous workshops have included stress management, eco-friendly living and tips for pursuing outside scholarships.
This semester, three workshops are planned:
• Tuesday, February 26
“Student Loan Repayment Options”
• Wednesday, March 26
“Interview Success Tips from the Employer’s Perspective”
• Wednesday, April 30
“Understanding Domestic Violence”
Workshops are held in the Saal of Bahnson Center, following the noon chapel/Eucharist services.
In an effort to make the Office of Admissions and Student Life available to all students, evening office hours will be scheduled on certain days during the semester. Students are welcome to stop by with questions or concerns. A monthly schedule can be found outside the office of Assistant Director Ann Gibson. |
