What is #MTSGive Day?
A day dedicated to philanthropy, in which we are encouraging alumni, students, parents, friends, faculty and staff to come together to reach our goal of 100 donors made to the College in a single day.
Who can participate?
Anyone can support Moravian Seminary on #MTSGiveDay by making a gift of any amount ($5 minimum). Alumni, students, parents, friends, faculty, and staff are all eligible to participate.
What types of gifts are accepted?
Cash, credit card, and online gifts will be counted.
Can I make a pledge?
No, only cash gifts are being counted on #MTSGiveDay. However, if you currently have a pledge and wish to make a payment on it during Give Day, that cash payment will be counted.
Can I give to any area of the College?
Donors are encouraged to support the Moravian Seminary Annual Fund or Mini-Campaign for distance learning, but are also welcome to designate their gifts to any cause they feel most passionate about. If you don’t wish to prioritize any one cause, then we encourage you to give to the Annual Fund, which is the area of greatest need within the college community. 100 percent of your gift goes to your designated area.
Can I make a payment on my pledge on #MTSGiveDay?
Will my gift be tax deductible?
Yes, your gift is entirely tax deductible. You will receive an email confirmation that may serve as your receipt for tax purposes.
What if I already made my gift for this fiscal year (I donated between July 1, 2016 and March 28, 2017)?
Thank you for being a part of the MTS donor family! We appreciate your commitment and encourage you to make another gift during #MTSGiveDay. We also need you to help promote Give Day to others.
My spouse and I are both Moravian Seminary alumni. Will we each count towards the 100 donor goal?
Yes, you will both be counted toward the donor goal and will receive full gift credit.
My spouse and I are both non-alumni Moravian Seminary parents. Will we each count towards the 100 donor goal?
No, only one of you will count towards the donor goal.
I am an alumnus, but my spouse is not, how will our gift count?
You will both receive full gift credit but only count as one donor.
