The past two decades have been a great time for scholarship on the Moravian Church and its history. Some of this is groundbreaking research on unexamined aspects of the history while others have been revisiting and revising Moravian history. This session will focus on recent works in the series Pietist, Moravian, and Anabaptist Studies (Penn State), The Journal of Moravian History, and the 2022 conference on Moravian missions, slavery, and indigenous peoples.
