Denise is licensed professional counselor who has a graduate certificate in Spiritual Direction. She is committed to nurturing the mental and spiritual health of the clients she works with.

Her career and personal development have been rich, deep, and diverse layering one experience after another. She began her professional career working within the marketing and sales infrastructure at a large pharmaceutical company, where she continued her corporate career as a Learning and Development professional with a focus on Leadership Development.

Throughout her corporate career, one of her greatest joys was helping others grow and develop both personally and professionally. This led her to pursue a career change that would allow her to combine her passion for learning and development with her faith and spirituality. She enrolled in Moravian Theological Seminary and graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in Spiritual Direction.

Denise serves as an Adjunct Professor at MTS in both the Spiritual Direction Training Program and the Counseling Program. Additionally, Denise works as a mental health counselor for college students at DeSales University and teaches a course to adult learners on the relationship between psychology and spirituality. Denise also has a small private practice where she offers counseling or spiritual direction to adults of all ages and life stages. In each of these roles, it is Denise’s sincere desire to collaborate with clients in a way that inspires authenticity and cultivates personal growth to bring about healing, hope and wholeness.
